Trail conditions as well as the terrain changed rapidly, after trekking up 2000ft from the sub alpine zone to the alpine zone. The temperature quickly changed from 65F to 49F. We also notice the different colorful flowers along the trail. Especially in the alpine zone, where the ecosystem is very delicate with a limited number growing days. We did our duty staying on the trail and not picking any flowers.
